One reason so many people choose Katzkin instead of the manufacturer is that we have so many Ram leather options for them to pick from. We offer a choice of over 120 colors and materials including black, red, white, and blue with multiple trim options. We can make your Ram leather seats look just the way you want. If you want a simple, single-tone look, we can obviously do that for you and so much more. We can add custom perforation, piping, stitching including TekStitch, embroidery, embossing, and two-tone.

When you buy virtually anything nowadays, you want to see the reviews first. This is even more true on bigger purchases such as leather seats for your Ram. Finding a company with a high rating is important but it’s also critical that they have a lot of reviews. At Katzkin, we have thousands of reviews and an almost 5-star rating overall. We’ve included some of our reviews below for you to look through.
There are a variety of Ram 1500 trim levels and even more packages. Having so many options can be great but it can also be overwhelming. The easiest way to think about Ram trims is to start with the features/options that matter most to you. The “must-haves” if you will.
Leather interiors and temperature seats are some of the features people want the most. We don’t recommend buying a higher trim just to get one or two features. If you just want leather heated and ventilated seats, you can save thousands by purchasing a lower trim, such as the Big Horn, and add those features. If you do this, you get to customize your interior much more than if you simply got the OEM seats.
A lot of our customers purchase higher trim levels, like the Laramie, because they want a sunroof and still have us customize their interior.
Below is a brief overview of the Ram 1500 trim levels and the various features included in each one. Keep in mind that we aren’t saying every single option each trim level includes. The goal of this section is to help you understand which trim levels come with the features most people want and how you can save money by purchasing a lower trim level and simply adding the features you really want. We can replace cloth or leather seats with a variety of different product options. Even if your truck already comes with leather from the manufacturer, we can replace it with high-quality, custom leather, chosen by you.
This is the base trim of the Ram 1500. This is the Ram work truck. It comes standard with a 3.6L V6 engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, 18×7.5-inch painted steel wheels, BSW all-season tires, six-passenger seating, 5-inch Uconnect 3 display, and cloth seats. The Tradesman does not come with a leather interior or temperature seat controls.
The Big Horn trim is one of the trims Ram sells the most. Part of that is its lower price point while also coming with the majority of features most truck buyers want. It comes with deluxe cloth seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power heated mirrors with fold away, auto-dimming exterior driver mirror, Uconnect 3 5-inch touchscreen display but you can upgrade to Uconnect 4 8.4-inch if you’d like, and more. It should be noted that the Big Horn does NOT HAVE LEATHER SEATS or ventilated seats.
The Laramie is the least expensive Ram 1500 trim level that comes with leather seats from the manufacturer. Purchasing the Laramie instead of a Big Horn will cost you an additional $4,000 or more. It also comes with heated front seats, a power tailgate, Uconnect 4 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, automatic high-beam headlamp control, blindspot and cross path detection, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an optional sunroof, and more. It does not come with ventilated seats.
The Rebel is an incredible off-road truck with luxury leather seats, an available 12-inch Uconnect display, 18×8-inch painted mid-gloss black wheels, OWL all-terrain tires, two-tone paint, 3.92 rear-axle ratio, the 3.6L V6 eTorque engine, an optional dual-panel panoramic sunroof, and a whole lot more for your off-road adventures.
This trim level comes with premium leather seats, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, power running boards, Uconnect 4C NAV 8.4-inch display with an available 12-inch display, 20×9-inch aluminum painted/polished wheels, black/new saddle interior, and more. However, keep in mind that you can customize your truck’s interior exactly the way you want with Katzkin as well.
The Ram 1500 Limited trim level is right near the top when it comes to Ram 1500 trim levels. It comes standard with the 5.7L V8 Hemi engine, premium leather seats, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, parallel and perpendicular park-assist, 20×9-inch polished wheels with inserts, available pedestrian emergency available braking, BSW all-season tires, surround-view camera, and much more.
The Ram 1500 TRX is a complete animal! Its 6.2L Supercharged Hemi V8 SRT engine alone makes it worthy of being called a beast but it has a lot more than that. It also comes with a 3.55 rear axle ratio, 18×9-inch polish black aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, a Uconnect 12-inch display with navigation, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and more! Keep in mind that leather is NOT STANDARD on the TRX trim. Instead, it comes with cloth/vinyl seats. Adding your own custom Katzkin leather interior will make you love your truck even more.
Buying a lower Ram 1500 trim level gives you the ability to customize it as much as you want while also saving a ton of money. You would save $9,085 by purchasing a Tradesman instead of a Laramie and adding leather seats to it. Buying a Big Horn instead of a Laramie will save you $4,540.Choose Your Design
