There are a variety of different Honda Civic trim levels and it can be hard to know which trim has the options you really care about. At Katzkin, we recommend you decide what options and features are most important to you and focus on those. Getting caught up in all the extra add-ons, many of which aren’t “must-haves” for you, will only complicate matters.
One of the most common features many people want in their Civic is a leather interior. Simply put, you would have to purchase at least the EX-L trim in order for your car to come with leather from the manufacturer. But if leather or temperature seats are the most important features for you, we recommend purchasing the lowest trim level, an LX, and adding Katzkin leather. This is the least expensive trim but it comes with most of the features people care about. You’ll save thousands of dollars by adding leather to a car with a lower trim. But if you really want a Civic with a sunroof, you’ll have to purchase an EX or higher.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the different Honda Civic trim levels and what each one includes. This is not a comprehensive list of every feature included on all of the trims. The LX is the base trim level for the Honda Civic. It doesn’t come with leather, heated seats, or Android Auto/Apple Carplay. However, it does come with Honda Sensing and Driver Assistive Technologies, a 160-watt audio system with four speakers, 16-inch wheels with full covers, a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines, and automatic climate control.
The second-lowest Honda Civic trim level is the Sport. While it doesn’t come with leather or heated seats, it does come with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, one of the basic features many people want. It also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, automatic climate control, sport pedals, push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more.
The EX is the most inexpensive Civic trim that comes with heated front seats. It doesn’t come with ventilated seats or a leather interior. This trim is the lowest that comes with leather seats. It also comes with heated front seats, a one-touch power moonroof, Honda LaneWatch, a 180-watt audio system with eight speakers, a 7-inch display with high resolution, 17-inch alloy wheels, and of course Android Auto/Apple Carplay.
The Touring comes with a leather interior, heated front seats and rear seats, a one-touch power moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, Honda LaneWatch, LED headlights, a 450-watt premium audio system with 10 speakers including a subwoofer, a satellite-linked navigation system, a push-button start, Homelink remote system, and more.
