The VW ID. Buzz Interior & What’s Included

Three VW ID Buzz Vans

Have you heard the buzz about the VW ID. Buzz? With retro details and a spacious cabin, the VW ID. Buzz interior is both whimsical and practical. This electric van is part of Volkswagen’s strategy to reach their sustainability goals. Set to go on sale in 2024, the VW ID. Buzz takes inspiration from the iconic Type 2 Microbus. And of course, once the electric van is on sale, Katzkin will be offering leather seat covers to fully customize the VW ID. Buzz interior.

The VW ID. Buzz Interior

Currently, the EV market is noticeably without many family-sized vehicles. That’s where the VW ID. Buzz comes in. With three rows and seating for up to seven, the VW ID. Buzz interior is spacious and functional. Front seats come with fold-out armrests, with fold-out tables for backseat passengers. The center console (which comes with an ice scraper and bottle opener) is also removable so you can rearrange the space as needed. Plus, the cargo area can be fitted with an adjustable load floor. It’s the perfect eco-conscious vehicle for running errands around town as well as hitting the road.

More than just spacious, the VW ID. Buzz interior is filled with details that are both retro and modern. Each door handle alcove has winking smiley faces, which are used to cover the screws. Silhouettes of the ID. Buzz are etched into the upholstery. Small decals of an umbrella shielding the ID. Buzz from the rain can be found on the bottom of the side window.

Standard with the ID. Buzz is a ten-inch digital gauge cluster as well as an infotainment center. Some of our favorite upgrades include customizable ambient lighting and massaging front seats. The European model’s seats are made from recycled materials, including 10% from diverted ocean-bound plastic. No leather seat options exist for the European model, and given the company’s commitment to the environment, we imagine the US model will use similar, recycled materials.

VW ID. Buzz Price

Currently, VW has not listed an official price for the US version of the VW ID. Buzz. However, looking at other similar EVs, estimates put the starting price at around $40,000.

When Does the ID. Buzz Come to the US?

If you’re excited to get your own VW ID. Buzz, you’ll have to be patient. Although the ID. Buzz was unveiled by Volkswagen in March of 2022, the US model won’t be on sale until some time in 2024. As soon as the ID. Buzz is on sale, Katzkin will offer leather seats to customize the van your way.

Color Scheme Ideas for Your ID. Buzz

White Leather Seat

Just because you have to wait to purchase your VW ID. Buzz doesn’t mean you can’t start thinking about the interior. Although we don’t have all the details about available color schemes for the VW ID. Buzz interior, we have some. The Type 2 Minibus, which inspired the VW ID. Buzz, was known for its groovy colors and details. While inspired by the retro VW Bus, the VW ID. Buzz interior is made for the modern driver. Color schemes shown by VW include yellow/beige, orange/gray, and gray.

With Katzkin, you’re not limited by the options provided by VW. You can customize your VW ID. Buzz interior with leather seats of pretty much any pattern and color scheme. If you’re looking for ideas for designing your ID. Buzz, here are some things to consider:

  • When choosing your interior color scheme, you’ll want to consider the exterior. The pictures we’ve seen of the ID. Buzz include blue/white, orange/white, and yellow/white exteriors. So red seats and black seats, for example, would likely clash with the exterior.
  • When designing your interior, you’ll want to look for contrasting colors. Colors that are too close to each other on the color wheel, such as orange and yellow, can clash.
  • Seats can be either single-tone or two-tone. Single-tone seats offer a sleek feel, while two-tone seats add contrast.

Whether you have a specific vision in mind or need more help, the interior specialists at Katzkin can help you design a VW ID. Buzz when this vehicle is released to the public.  We want your interior to reflect your unique personality!
