When you purchase a vehicle, there are a plethora of trim options for you to choose from. The base trims are usually pretty bare-bones but not always. A lot of people buy cars that are higher trim levels in order to get certain features. In fact, it’s very common for buyers to pay thousands extra for a higher trim level just so they can get one or two features they really want.
One of the most common features many people want in their car or truck is a leather interior. We completely understand why: it’s easier to clean, looks great, doesn’t absorb dust or smells like cloth does, higher resale value, etc. But if leather or temperature seats are the most important features for you, we recommend getting a lower trim level and simply adding leather seats from Katzkin. On most vehicles, you can literally save thousands of dollars this way.
The mid-level trims frequently come with a lot of the features that most people want already excluding leather seats. Sometimes they come with heated seats but you usually have to purchase a higher and more expensive trim level to get ventilated seats. Choose Your Design
If you want heated and ventilated seats added to your car or truck, we can do that with our Degreez packages. We can add up to three levels of heat and three levels of ventilation to your seats. Most people that purchase a vehicle, get a mid to lower trim level, which rarely comes with ventilated seats. You usually have to purchase at higher, more expensive trim to get those from the manufacturer. Instead of paying for all the extras you don’t care about, just buy the lower or mid-level trims and let us add custom temperature and leather seats to your vehicle.
Most of the vehicles we work on, and we work on a lot, are brand new. If you’re like most of our customers, you’ll purchase your new truck and take it to a Katzkin installer to get new custom leather added. But we frequently work on older trucks too. In fact, we can install leather on vehicles made in the 90s. Also, it doesn’t matter if you have a super crew, single cab, or super cab, we’ve worked on every cab style and can add leather to yours.
Approximately 25% of people, or one out of four, in the US, lease their vehicles. Leasing can be nice because it gives you a lower monthly payment and if you have a business, you can easily write it off on your taxes.
When leasing, if you want to add additional features such as bigger wheels, rhino liner in the bed, etc., you have to pay for those items over the course of the lease.
